When I first considered working with EOS and Ryan Charterina, I was hesitant. I wondered if the financial investment would pay off and whether EOS would truly address the unique challenges my business faced. Before EOS we were a successful hvac family business. We had about 10 employees and we were hitting some major growing pains. We have always excelled in customer service and doing our actual work. The main things we struggled in were organization, communication and accountability. After sitting down with Ryan, I knew his philosophy with EOS would be exactly what we needed. Prior to EOS, our firm lacked true organization when it came to departments, and who to look to in relation to getting certain things done. It was almost like we had unspoken agreements on who handled what, though it wasn’t clearly defined. We were hesitant with obtaining outside assistance due to the fact we knew it would take time, patience and commitment. Not that we weren’t open to providing those things and dedicating the time to do so, I believe we were hesitant because it was completely different from anything we’ve experienced. Our firm is one that is juggling many different things at once, and it felt like a continuous baseball practice where you are trying to hit and catch all of the balls. After utilizing and instilling EOS into our daily routine, keeping each other accountable, everything feels so much more achievable.
 
The first few days of EOS were quite interesting. We all understood how much honesty played a very big part in the success we would see, though getting comfortable enough to do so was the rock. Ryan continued to stress the importance of remaining honest, and being able to speak freely. We also struggled with instilling EOS’ organization, its processes, and mindset into our day to day. While we were in the EOS sessions, we were all in and easily comprehending the thought processing. When we were back in our element, it was like we got wrapped back up into our normal processes that weren’t as structured. That had to be the most difficult element we experienced with EOS, though practicing continuously, especially holding each of us accountable, was what allowed us to break through.
 
EOS has massively impacted our business and plans for our future. Aimed with the knowledge and understanding of the importance of having “seats”, and well thought out roles/responsibilities for each, our firm has been changed for the better forevermore. The organizational aspect being repeated over, and over to us through the sessions with Ryan, continue to stay repeating in our minds as we work daily. His words, advice, and wisdom with not only running a business, but working with people and being leaders, have left an imprint on us all. Being able to review our measurables, and the most crucial figures that drive our business on a weekly basis has transformed our drive tremendously. We are able to hone in, and really see where we are struggling. From there, we’re able to go directly to whom is related to that figure, and have a discussion that stresses the importance of deciphering where the issue lies.
